Marcus Gavrey, a well-known and respected businessman, passed away on the 10th of June 1940 at the age of 52. Born in 1888 in Sand Lake, Ontario, Canada, Marcus was an exemplary figure in the business world, and an example of hard work and dedication. After emerging as an important person in the business sphere, he went on to open several successful businesses, including The 220 Restaurant and The Gavrey Co. During his personal life, Marcus was an active member of his community. He would often be seen at local markets and charity events. He also took great interest in the politics of his area and country, actively engaging in debates and discussions with other members of the community and beyond. His friends and colleagues remembered him as a humble and warm-hearted individual who enjoyed spending time with his family and with those he worked with. Marcus Gavrey will be remembered for his warm-hearted nature, hardworking spirit, and successful business acumen. He will be loved by all those who knew him, and a true loss for the Sand Lake business community.
