Legendary actor Clark Gable passed away on 1960-11-16 at the age of 59. Known for his iconic roles in films such as "Gone With The Wind" and "Mogambo," Gable was one of the most recognizable figures in the Golden Age of Hollywood. Gables career as an actor began in the 1920's and saw him becoming a household name. He was well known for his masculine style and persona, and was often referred to as "The King of Hollywood." His acclaim was so great that he even received an honorary Oscar in 1939 in recognition of his contribution to the film industry. He is survived by his wife Kay Gable, his four children and a host of adoring fans. Gable left a lasting legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.
