Died August 9th, 1969 at 26 years old in 10050 Cielo Drive, Benedict Canyon, Los Angeles (stabbing). [ref]
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Tate on August 9, 1969 at the age of 26. Sharon leaves behind her husband Roman Polanski, whom she married in 1968, as well as her beloved family. Sharon was born in Dallas, Texas, in 1943 and found success as a model and actress. She was the star of films such as Fearless Vampire Killers, The Finder of Lost Loves, and Valley of the Dolls, among others. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her.
