Phil Hartman, beloved actor and comedian, passed away suddenly on May 28, 1998, at the age of 49. Hartman forged a legendary career entertaining audiences of all ages with his unique brand of humor and impeccable comic timing. He made a lasting impression for his eight seasons on "Saturday Night Live," as well as his starring roles in "NewsRadio" and "The Berman and Brannon Show." He also provided the voice of many beloved characters, including Troy McClure in "The Simpsons," Franklin in "Stinkhirt," and Captain Edgar Darling in Disney's "Hercules." Hartman was highly revered for his humanitarian efforts, raising money for numerous charities and helping young people with difficult obstacles. Hartman is survived by his wife, Brynn Omdahl, and two children. He will be remembered honors and greatly missed.
