Dinah Shore, legendary American entertainer, passed away on February 24, 1994 at the age of 77. Throughout her entire career, she achieved vast success. She was celebrated for her classic Beatles medley and her rendition of Irving Berlin's "God Bless America." Shore had her own long-running variety television program, The Dinah Shore Show, and her own syndicated daytime talk show, Dinah!. She achieved her biggest achievement with her 13-year stint as the spokesperson for Chevrolet. She was honored for her work with numerous accolades, including her induction into the Television Hall of Fame in 1989. She was also the recipient of four Emmy Awards and a People's Choice Award. With her work in both television and the music industry, Dinah Shore ruled as one of the most popular and successful performers of the 20th century. She will be remembered for generations to come.
