Gerry Rafferty died on January 4th, 2011 at the age of 63. Gerry was born in Paisley, Scotland and had a successful music careeer stretching from his teenage years up until his death. He was best known for the classic hit "Baker Street," which reached number 3 in the UK in 1978 and number 2 in the US charts in the same year. He also had success with other singles like Right Down the Line and Stuck in the Middle with You. He was one of the biggest musical icons Scotland has ever produced, and his work had a significant influence on a generation of music lovers. His incredible musicianship and songwriting prowess were unparalleled. Gerry will be sorely missed by his friends, family, and fans around the world. He will be remembered for his immense contributions to the music world.
