Georgia Holt (1926-2022) passed away peacefully on December 11th, 2022, at the age of 96. Georgia was born on June 5th, 1926 in Arkansas to Curtis and Ella Robison as their oldest daughter. An additional four siblings followed in her wake. Georgia was a mother of many accomplishments. She played a role in launching both the singing and acting careers of her two daughters, Cher and Georganne LaPiere. In addition, she obtained her GED at the age of 93 and was passionate about writing and completing several children’s books. A proud philanthropist, she enjoyed giving back to her community. Georgia will be remembered as a determined woman who lived life proactively. She leaves behind her two daughters as well as four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The world has lost a remarkable figure and though she may have passed, her legacy will remain for generations to come.
