On May 20th 2013, Zach Sobiech of Lakeland, Minnesota sadly passed away at the age of 18. Zach was an optimistic young man who had a passion for singing, songwriting, and performing. He was passionate about life, and shared joy and inspiration with countless people around the world. Zach was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, cancer of the bones, at the age of 14 in 2009. Despite this diagnosis, he chose to "Live Like Zach" and enjoy life to the fullest. He was the lead singer of a band called A Firm Handshake, and was best known for his single "Clouds". Zach was an educated young man and was committed to his studies. He graduated from Stillwater Area High School with his friends in May 2013. He will be deeply missed and always remembered for his courage, resilience, and kindness. Zach's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and souls of all who knew him.
