Yvonne De Carlo, 84, passed away on January 8, 2007 in California. The Vancouver, British Columbia native was best known for her iconic roles in television and film, starting with "Silk Stockings" (1957) and most notably as Lily Munster in "The Munsters" (1964-66). De Carlo also had the distinction of performing opposite the legendary Burt Lancaster in over a dozen movies, most famously in "The Ten Commandments" (1956) where she played opposite the actor as his wife, Sephora. In her later years De Carlo was active on the stage with the tour of "Hello Dolly!" (1998-02). She is survived by three daughters Shelley, Margaret and Diane De Carlo, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her legacy will live on through the many mediums and generations that have been able to witness her talent and grace. May she rest in peace.
