Yvonne Craig passed away peacefully on Thursday August 17, 2015, at the age of 78. Yvonne was best known for her roles as Batgirl on the 1960s television series "Batman", as well as roles in "Kissin' Cousins", "Gidget Goes Hawaiian" and "Ski Party". She was also a successful dancer, having appeared in numerous theatrical productions throughout the United States as well as performing with the Los Angeles Ballet. In addition to her roles on the stage and in television, Craig was also a successful voice actress, performing in numerous animated films including "Winnie the Pooh and a Day For Eeyore" and "Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters". Yvonne was beloved by her fans for her winsome portrayals. She was a gifted actress who will be remembered for her passion and dedication to her craft. She is survived by her two sisters, many friends and colleagues. She will be dearly missed.
