Woodrow Wilson passed away on February 23, 1924 at the age of 67. He was born in Staunton, Virginia in 1856 and studied at Princeton and the University of Virginia before becoming an academic professor at several colleges. He served as the President of Princeton from 1902 to 1910. He was the 28th President of the United States of America from 1913 to 1921 and was a leader in the Progressive Movement and the Democratic Party. Wilson championed progressive reforms and guided America through World War I. He was also a Nobel Prize winner in 1919. After completing his presidency, he retired to his home in Washington DC. Wilson was widely respected, admired and influential as a president, leader and visionary. He will be remembered for his contributions to America, the world and democracy.
