Walter Stanley Keane, artist and innovator, passed away on December 27th, 2000 at the age of 85. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 6th, 1915. He is survived by his beloved wife xxxxxx Keane, son Walter Stanley Jr., and daughter xxxxxxxx. Walter’s artistic career began in the late 1950s with the creation of his signature “Big Eyes” images. Walter will be remembered for his artistic vision, creative outlook, and commitment to excellence. He was a man who was always looking to move forward and create something new. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the art community.
