Victor French, age 54, of California, passed away on June 15, 1989. Victor's life was a tribute to his unwavering determination and dedication to the craft of acting. He was best known for his roles in films such as It Couldn’t Happen to a Nicer Guy (1974), The Island of Dr. Moreau (1977) and The North Avenue Irregulars (1979). He was well known on television too, acting in such series as Little House on the Prairie, Gunsmoke, McMillan & Wife and Highway to Heaven. He was a master of character acting, and at the time of his death he had appeared in more than 200 productions for film and television. Victor was a devoted Christian, and he often spoke of the importance of faith. In life he was a beloved husband, father, and friend and he will be dearly missed.
