It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of V. N. Janaki, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19th, 1996, aged 72 years old. V. N. Janaki was born in 1924 in Pondicherry, India. She was a well-respected and deeply loved teacher, lecturer, and mentor to many in her community. Throughout her life, she was devoted to her career, and touched the lives of countless students with compassion and love for education. V. N. Janaki is survived by her beloved sister, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who mourn her passing dearly. She will be remembered for her dedication and service to those around her, and in her honor, her family and friends will keep her long legacy of learning and education alive. V. N. Janaki will be dearly missed.
