Actor Troy Donahue passed away on September 2nd, 2001 at the age of 65. Born in New York City, New York on January 27th, 1936, Troy was best known for his roles in 1950s and 1960s films such as Rome Adventure, A Distant Trumpet, and Palisades Park. He also starred in a number of television shows, including Hawaiian Eye, 77 Sunset Strip, and Surfside Six. In addition to his acting, Troy was an accomplished musician. He released several jazz albums and wrote songs with such renowned songwriters as Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Troy will be remembered for his impact on film and television history. His career spanned over four decades and featured nearly 40 film credits and countless television shows. He will be missed deeply by family, friends, and fans alike.
