Tom Sizemore, veteran actor of film and television, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2023, at the age of 61.
Born on November 29, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, Tom attended Wayne State University before embarking on a colorful career in the entertainment industry. He appeared in more than 100 films, including Natural Born Killers, Saving Private Ryan, The Relic, Black Hawk Down and Heat, to name a few. He also appeared on television in shows such as Hawaii Five-O, Entourage, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Hawaii.
Tom was an acclaimed actor who won several awards, including the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Saving Private Ryan and acting awards from the independent film festivals.
In addition to acting, Tom was an avid philanthropist, supporting charities such as St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Smile Train, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His charity work and his acting career touched millions of people around the world.
Tom is survived by his wife, Elle Sizemore, his parents, three sisters, and two sons. He will be remembered for his kind heart and his dedication to the craft of acting.
