It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen Peter Marriott, born January 30, 1947, announce the passing of their beloved son and brother on April 21, 1991 at the age of 44. Steve Marriott was a legendary musician and songwriter, best known as a vocalist and guitarist for The Small Faces, Humble Pie, and solo work. He was known for his raspy voice, impeccable playing style, and passionate performances. His influence as a musician still resonates today, as many of his songs have been covered and live on through radio play. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kay and Bill Marriott. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, though details on these familial relationships will remain private. It is the family's wishes to mourn privately, so kindly do not send flowers, cards, or letters. We will all miss Steve dearly, but rest assured he has found peace, and his music and memory will live on.

It is not length of life, but depth of life. Ralph Waldo Emerson
