Sheree North, beloved actress and singer, passed away at the age of 73 on November 4, 2005. She was best known for her film appearances in such classics as Three Sailors and a Girl, My Sister Eileen, Rural Singapore, Brenda Starr, and The Gun Runners starring opposite of Steve McQueen. North also achieved notoriety on stage, television, and nightclubs throughout the United States. During her career she released many records and made guest appearances on countless talk shows. After her vibrant show business career, North retired to Japan where she founded the Sachi School of Dance. Sheree North leaves behind her loving husband Masaharu Nakanomori and a lifetime of cherished memories from family, loved ones, and fans from around the world.
