Shad Gaspard, professional wrestler and actor, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2020, at the age of 39. Shad entered the world of wrestling in 2002, and spent the next eighteen years creating an impressive catalog of match performances. His bouts were known for their intensity, physicality, and athletic skill. Shad's career included work in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), and the all-female promotion Shimmer Women Athletes. His biggest success came in collaboration with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he performed as part of the tag-team Cryme Tyme. Shad also found success in the world of cinema, appearing alongside The Rock in the movie The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior, and appearing in the hit series NCIS, and the hit movie Think Like a Man Too. Shad leaves behind a loving wife and son. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and fans worldwide.
