Sebastian Cabot, beloved actor, passed away on August 22nd, 1977 at the age of 59. Sebastian was best known for many roles in television, film, and theatre, and was active in the industry from 1945 until the time of his death. Born in London, England, on July 6, 1918, Sebastian developed an interest in acting at a young age. He created his first company, The Old Vic, where he developed many plays that were seen throughout the United Kingdom. In the 1950s, he moved to Hollywood, and began a prolific career spanning three decades. He portrayed a diverse set of roles, from a serial killer in "No Way Out" to a cartoon version of himself in "The Aristocats" as the narrator. His success was international, with appearances including Orson Welles' 1958 "Touch of Evil" and "The Undefeated" in 1969. Sebastian retired in 1975, and sadly died two years later. He will be remembered and missed by family, friends, and fans around the world for his incredible contributions to the arts.
