Roy Raymond, age 46, passed away at his home on August 26th, 1993. He was an Indian-born American businessman who is best remembered for founding the Victoria's Secret lingerie company in 1977. Through his business acumen and pioneering innovation, Roy brought quality lingerie into the mainstream market and opened the door for the fashion industry to more openly embrace intimate apparel. He is survived by his wife, Gaye, and his two daughters, Jennie and Tory. Roy's lasting legacy as a businessman and as a fashion industry trailblazer will not be forgotten.
