It is with sadness we announce the death of Robert Palmer at the age of 54 on September 26, 2003. Robert Palmer was a talented musician, singer, and songwriter. Born in Batley, Yorkshire on January 19, 1949, he released a number of successful albums throughout his career, including his smash hit album "Riptide", which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, and "Heavy Nova", which went double platinum. Robert was an incredible performer, having graced stages all over the world, and also received a multitude of awards and accolades for his work. He leaves behind an incredible musical legacy, having influenced and inspired countless musicians with his unique sound. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his family, friends, and fans alike.
