Robert Newton, beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of 50 on March 25, 1956. He was born on June 4, 1905 in Omaha, Nebraska, to parents Charles and Minnie Newton. Robert was an Army veteran who served during WWII and attained the rank of sergeant. He worked for many years as a painter for the Omaha Public School System, and was a longtime active member of his church's choir. Robert was deeply devoted to his faith, and was known for his passionate singing and silliness. He was a loving father to his two children, James and Mary, and was greatly loved by his family and friends. Robert is remembered fondly for his sense of humor, incredible singing voice, and exceptional loyalty and dedication to his family. He was a kind and generous man who will be remembered for many years to come.
