Indian film actor, producer, director and singer, Rishi Kapoor, died in Mumbai, India on April 30, 2020, following a two-year battle with Leukemia. He was 67. Kapoor heralded from the illustrious Kapoor family. He made his Bollywood debut with the 1970 film Mera Naam Joker, but rose to fame with his performance in the romantic classic, Bobby. His notable works include Amar Akbar Anthony, Kapoor & Sons, Mulk and Agneepath. Kapoor won several awards throughout his career, including the prestigious National Award for best child artist for his role in Mera Naam Joker. He also earned three Filmfare Awards for his performances in Henna, Bobby and Chameli Ki Shaadi. A renowned family man, Kapoor often credited his extended family for always being there for him. He leaves behind his wife, Neetu Singh, and his two children, Ranbir and Riddhima. Kapoor's presence on and off the screen will be deeply missed by the acting industry, his fans, and his loved ones.
