Richard Perry, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024 at the age of 82. Born on October 12, 1942 to John and Margaret Perry, Richard grew up in the small town of Greenfield where he attended local schools and graduated from Greenfield High School in 1960. Richard was known for his hardworking and dedicated nature, which led him to a successful career as a businessman. He worked for several companies throughout his life and was highly respected by his colleagues and peers. In his free time, Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also an avid sports fan and loved cheering on his favorite teams. Richard was a kind and caring individual, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary, his two children, Sarah and Michael, and his four grandchildren. Richard also leaves behind a large extended family and many close friends who will cherish his memory forever. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses who provided compassionate care to Richard during his illness. A private ceremony will be held to honor Richard's life. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
