Reeva Steenkamp, born 1983, died on February 14, 2013 at the age of 29. She made a lasting impression as a dedicated model, businesswoman, and law graduate. She was a professional cover girl and face of various magazines. Notably, she was the face of FHM South Africa for two consecutive years. Steenkamp was a businesswoman in her own right, owning and running a publicity firm for a significant period of time. Steenkamp was an advocate for women’s rights, participating in various charity organizations and events such as self-defence classes and walks for women’s rights. She was an accomplished student, finishing her studying with academics in law. She is survived by her mother June, father Barry, siblings Simone and Adam, and close friends. Steenkamp was much loved and will be remembered for her brilliance and vitality.
