Ray Wilkins, 61, passed away on April 4, 2018. Ray Wilkins was a legendary football player, who played for some of the most prestigious clubs in the world, including Chelsea FC, Manchester United, AC Milan and Rangers. During his career, which spanned nearly two decades, he earned 84 caps with the England national team and even appeared in the 1982 FIFA World Cup. He was known for his strong defensive play and tactical expertise, both of which he retained until his playing days were over. After his retirement, Ray went on to become a well-respected coach, working with the England U21 team, Fulham FC and the Jordan national team. Ray was loved by all those who knew him, and his death came as a shock for friends and fans alike. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, and their three children. He will be remembered for his dedication to the beautiful game and for the strong impact he had on those around him. His memory will carry on with all of us who admired him.
