Ray Milland, an esteemed actor, passed away on March 10, 1986 at the age of 79. Born in Wales, he was best known for his Academy Award-winning role in 1945's "The Lost Weekend". His career spanned nearly 60 years, during which he became a beloved figure in the film industry for his unforgettable performances. In addition to his Oscar-winning role, Ray Milland was nominated for several other awards, including an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and three additional nominations for the Academy Award. He starred in dozens of movies during his career, including Dial M for Murder, The Big Clock, and Panic in the Streets.
