Philip McKeon passed away on December 10th, 2019 at the age of 55. Philip spent much of his career as an actor, best remembered for his role on the sitcom "Alice" where he played Tommy Hyatt for the entirety of its 9-year run. Born in Westbury, NY on November 11th, 1964 to Barbara and Don McKeon, Phillip earned his start in television with a commercial for Mattel at the age of five and came to fame in 1978 when he was the voice of the title character on the Saturday morning cartoon "Mork and Mindy/Laverne and Shirley/Fonz Hour." Philip went on to capitalize on his success on "Alice" appearing on other popular shows such as "Fantasy Island" and "The Love Boat," and went on to produce two films late in his career. Philip was also an avid supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation whose mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Philip is survived by his sister Nancy McKeon, as well as close family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents. He will be deeply missed.
