It is with heavy hearts that the family of Peaches Geldof announces her passing on April 7, 2014 at the age of 25. Peaches was best known as a socialite, model and television presenter, but also made an impact with her work as a philanthropist, advocate for international adoptions and campaigner for animal welfare. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Astala and Phaedra, and was deeply loved by her family, friends, and the public. Peaches had a keen interest in the arts, becoming a published photographer and participating in the acting and music industry, while also hosting two television shows and acting as a columnist. Her innovation, creativity and ambition were the hallmarks of her strong and independent spirit. She was a voracious reader and was of great help to her father, Bob Geldof, in spearheading the campaign to raise awareness of poverty in developing countries. Peaches will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to have known her. Her humor, intelligence and passionate spirit will be remembered by all.
