Omar Mateen, son of Mir Seddique and Shahla, passed away June 12, 2016 at the age of 29. He lived in Florida most of his life and was the father of a young son. Prior to his passing, he worked at a security firm for nine years before being placed on administrative leave. Mateen is remembered fondly by those who knew him, and his memory will be honored by his parents and son. He was a beloved member of the local community. No services have been announced yet.
