Norma McCorvey, 69, passed away on 2017-02-18. Norma was a key figure in the landmark case Roe v. Wade, granted by the Supreme Court of the United States in 1973. During the case, she served as the plaintiff in the case, which officially established the right to legal abortion in the United States. Norma later dedicated her life to activism, becoming a prominent pro-life figure following her conversion to Christianity in the late 1990s. This resulted in her founding the Roe No More Ministry in 2005, with the goal of condemning the legalization of abortions and continuing her fight for the unborn. Norma is survived by her daughter, Melissa; her brother, Bob; her nieces and nephews, Teresa, Donna, and David; her granddaughters, Kelly and Melanie; and her great-grandchildren, Kayla, Brooklyn, Kaedan, and Mason.
