Neilia Hunter, born on 1942-07-06, passed away on 1972-12-18 at the age of 30. She was the wife of Senator Joe Biden, and the mother of Beau, Hunter, and Naomi Biden. The daughter of Amelita and Philip Finocchiaro, she was raised in Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of the University of Delaware, where she studied education. Neilia Hunter worked as a schoolteacher in Wilmington, Delaware, before beginning a family. Survived by her husband and three children, she will be remembered for her reverence and strong faith. Neilia was an affinity for the local seafood, authentic Italian cooking and discussions of literature and current events. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
