Michael Wayne, age 68, passed away on April 2nd, 2003. Michael, who worked in real estate for 40 years, was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. He moved to Riverside in 1973 when he accepted a position with a real estate firm. Michael was an active member of the community. He was a long-time coach for the Little League and a fixture of the Goleta Farmer’s Market. He was known for his kind and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and camping during his leisure time. Michael had a passion for travel and took advantage of the opportunity to visit many places throughout the years. He was also a loyal fan of the San Jose Sharks. He is survived by his wife Cassandra, his daughter Amanda, his son Ken and his four grandchildren, Victoria, Sam, Liam and John. Michael was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, coach and friend and will be deeply missed. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 12th with details to be announced. Memorial donations may be made to the Goleta Farmer’s Market in Michael's name.
