With profound sorrow, the family of Michael K. Williams announce his passing at the age of 54. Michael was born on November 22, 1966 in New York City. He was an esteemed actor who appeared in many films throughout his career, including "Process," "Dead Presidents," "Goodfellas," and "The Wire". He is also well known for his portrayal of iconic characters such as Omar Little in "The Wire," Antwan "Big Black" Paxton in "Flowers in the Attic," and Chalky White in "Boardwalk Empire". Michael also achieved great success in the theatre world, appearing in productions of "Jitney," "Fences," and "Two Trains Running". He was also featured in the 2019 remake of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Michael's immense talents were highly regarded by fans, friends, and colleagues alike.
