Michael Hutchence, lead singer of the critically acclaimed Australian rock group INXS, has passed away at 37 years old. His death was unexpected, and occurred on November 22, 1997. Hutchence began his career with the hit band INXS in 1977, and achieved years of success and recognition both in his homeland and abroad. His distinctive voice and presence was an integral part of the band's major hits such as "Need You Tonight", "Never Tear Us Apart" and "Mystify". Hutchence was also an accomplished solo artist, releasing two solo albums throughout his career. Hutchence is survived by his parents, siblings and his daughter, Tiger Lily. Friends and family are asked to remember him in their own private way.
