We mourn the passing of Mary Ure, aged 42, who died on April 3, 1975. Mary was born in 1933 in the Scotland. She attended the University of Glasgow, and went on to become an accomplished actor. She began her career on the London stage, and made her first movie in 1962. She appeared in numerous films and TV shows, winning many awards, including a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in 1966. Mary was also a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur. She set up her own production company, producing plays and films. Mary was a beloved wife and mother, and will be dearly missed by her husband, children, and their many friends. We honor Mary's memory, and her outstanding contributions to her industry, and to those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
