Louis Jourdan, Actor, Passes at Age 93 Louis Jourdan, a French actor best known for his roles in the films "Gigi", "Can-Can", and "Octopussy," has died. He was 93 years old. A Paris-born dancer, Jourdan began his career on the French stage, transitioning into film in the late 1930s. He appeared in several French classics, including "Remorques" and "Le Corsaire", before moving into British and American films. In his 50-year career, Jourdan starred in over 50 films and television shows. His roles in "The Reflections of Susanna", "Swamp Fox", and "The V.I.P.s" remain well-known to this day. Jourdan was an avid stop-motion animation enthusiast, providing voicework for both television shows and films. He also lent his voice to the popular video game "Alien: Isolation." Until his death, Jourdan resided in Beverly Hills, California. He was survived by his wife, Marion, and their son, Louis Henry.
