On January 21, 2022, Louie Anderson, 68, passed away. He was a beloved comic actor and stand-up comedian who had a remarkable career on the stage. Anderson made his acting debut in the 1986 movie "Coming to America" and from there starred in many movies and television shows. His stand-up comedy career started in 1979 and spanned four decades. He was best known for his roles in the sitcoms "Grace Under Fire" and "Life with Louie," the latter of which he was also a writer and co-producer. He also wrote three books, and won three daytime Emmy Awards for his involvement in the animated series of "Life with Louie." His body of work was a great source of joy to his fans, and he will be greatly missed.
