Klaus Kinski (October 18, 1926 - November 23, 1991) died at the age of 65. A German actor and writer known for a wide range of cult films, he worked across all genres. Kinski was born in Sopot, Free City of Danzig, Poland in 1926. He developed his unique style of performance whilst studying in Berlin. A career spanning five decades, Kinski became an internationally renowned performer, appearing in over 130 films. Kinski won numerous awards for his work, including a Cannes Film Festival Best Actor Award for the 1974 motion picture ‘Crawley’. He also received Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. He was known for the intense nature of his performances which were often met with critical success. Kinski passed away peacefully at his home in Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his two children, Nastassja Kinski and Nikolai Kinski. He will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched.
