Kevin Peter Hall, beloved performer and actor, passed away on April 10th, 1991 at the age of 35. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 9th, 1955, Kevin had an early passion for acting and performing. He graduated from Peabody High School in 1973 and went on to attend Carnegie Mellon University where he would graduate with a BFA in Drama in 1977. He is best remembered for his portrayal of Harry in the 1984 film Harry and the Hendersons. He also starred in the sitcom Benson and was a semi-regular on the popular show Night Court. He had a booming voice that often made him a first pick for voice-over roles and animation. As a master of disguise and talent for playing characters that were larger than life, he earned a special place in the arena of acting that could never be filled. He was beloved by colleagues, family, and fans. Kevin's life was made extraordinary by his playful spirit, kind soul, and creative passion that touched those around him. He was gone far too soon and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
