Kalyan Singh, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 89. He was born on December 16, 1931 in Bombay, India, and moved to Blakeslee, Pennsylvania with his family in 1970. He lived an honorable life dedicated to education and service to others in the community. Kalyan was a proud graduate of the University of Madras in Chennai, India, and retired from IBM in East Fishkill, New York after a long and successful career. Kalyan is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Asha, and their two sons, Barun and Manish. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Samantha, Evan, Taylor and Maya, and four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Priya, Mia and Aiden. Kalyan was devoted to his family and was always eager to teach and share his moral values. He inspired a deep respect in all he met and will be deeply missed by every one who had the privilege of knowing him.
