Judy Carne, beloved star of stage and screen, passed away at her home in Northampton, England, on September 3, 2015. She was 76 years old. Carne was best known for her lively roles in the hit television series "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In," during the late 1960s and '70s. She won over audiences with her bubbly personality and iconic catchphrase, "Sock it to me." Carne was born Joyce Botterill on April 27, 1939 in Northampton. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London before moving to the United States in the late 1960s. In addition to her work on "Laugh-In," Carne appeared in numerous films, plays and television shows, including "Love on a Rooftop," "Angel in My Pocket," and "The Love Boat," as well as a handful of musicals and stage productions. Carne returned to live in the U.K. in 1994 and enjoyed a quiet life. She is survived by her son, Jak Morgan-Harrill.
