John Bonham, a celebrated drummer and a key member of the rock-and-roll band Led Zeppelin, passed away on September 25th, 1980 at the age of 32. John Bonham began playing drums at the age of five and quickly developed a strong passion for music. He became an important part of Led Zeppelin at the age of 19, joining the band in 1968. He is remembered for his inventive and unique approach to drumming, which is one of the defining features that earned Led Zeppelin their reputation worldwide. With his legendary playing, Bonham helpedLed Zeppelin push the boundaries of rock music, changing and influencing the genre as a whole. He was a highly versatile drummer, proving equally adept performing with a soft touch and can really bring out the groove when needed. His technical proficiency and musical innovation remain unmatched even today. John Bonham is survived by his wife, Pat, and his three children; Jason, Zoe and Ruth Bonham. Despite his too short life, he will live on through his music, forever remembered as one of the greatest drummers of all time.
