Jean Peters, a beloved family member, friend, and colleague, passed away on October 13th, 2000 at the age of 73. Jean was born in 1927 and graduated from high school in 1945. She went on to work as a bookkeeper for over 35 years at a local factory. During this time, Jean formed many friendships and was known for her lively sense of humor and intelligence. Jean was also an active member of her local church and made a point to reach out to new members of the congregation. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, and playing the piano. Jean was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her two sons, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her charming personality, strong faith, and an adventurous spirit that will be dearly missed.
