Jay Thomas, the beloved actor, comedian, and television host, passed away on August 24th 2017 at the age of 69. Thomas died at 69, but lived a life filled with success. He was an actor and comedian who achieved stardom with recurring roles on the sitcom ‘Cheers’ and later 'Murphy Brown'. He was also known for starring on the television show 'Love & War'. His career began in the late 70s, where he made numerous appearances on classic television shows such as 'Laverne & Shirley', 'Soap’, 'Mork & Mindy’, ‘Diff'rent Strokes’ and 'Hill Street Blues'. In his long and fruitful career, Thomas won two Emmy Awards for his performances on 'Love & War', as well as for his hosting on 'The Jay Thomas Show'. Thomas' life was filled with love, laughter, and success. He will be greatly missed by his family, his peers, and his fans. He was an outstanding man and made an immense impact on the entertainment industry.
