On October 8, 2001, Javed Iqbal, 45, passed away after a brief illness. A Pakistan native, Javed was born and raised there, finishing his studies in Lahore before beginning a career in the service industry. He eventually moved to Dubai before eventually settling in the U.S., where he worked in professional services. Javed was an advocate for the importance of fine dining, and often used his platform to educate others on food, culture and etiquette. He was well-respected and will be remembered for his passionate approach to life. In his 45 years on this world, Javed accomplished much and touched the lives of many. He will be dearly missed.
