Jackie Collins, renowned author and bona fide superstar, passed away on September 19th, 2015, at the age of 77. Jackie achieved a tremendous amount of success in her lifetime as a best-selling author who wrote 32 novels. Her books sold over 500 million copies in 40 countries and included works of fiction such as The World Is Full Of Married Men, Hollywood Wives and The Santangelos. Her works were published in multiple languages and were adapted into films and television. Jackie had an illustrious career, appearing on television shows and intertwining fiction with her lifestyle, as she was frequently photographed by the tabloids. She was a people’s person, always surrounded by friends and family. Jackie was born in London and started writing her first novel, The World Is Full of Married Men, at age 21. She was a fervent traveler, having visited over 100 countries, and a lover of the finer things in life. Jackie Collins was and still is dearly loved by her family, fans and friends. She will be remembered as an incredible and strong woman who inspired societal change and championing of personal and sexual freedoms.
