Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela, born in 1939, passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 83. He was a successful businessman and avid philanthropist, best known for founding one of Colombia's largest private healthcare providers. Over the course of his lifetime, he achieved many successes. He was well-known for establishing a major pharmaceutical corporation and investing in many other industries, as well as for his charitable donations to numerous organizations and causes. He is survived by his wife, María Porto Rodríguez, and his four children. He will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and business associates alike.
