George Peppard, a beloved actor who achieved fame and success during his lengthy career in Hollywood, has passed away at the age of 65. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1928, Peppard moved to New York City at a young age and attended the Neighborhood Playhouse. After completing his training there, he pursued a career in acting, appearing on television and in film. Peppard had a successful career, appearing in hit television shows like "The A-Team" and films like Breakfast at Tiffany's, Battle of the Bulge, and The Carpetbaggers. He received Academy Award nominations for his work in The Carpetbaggers and Home From the Hill, as well as a Golden Globe nomination for Papillon. Peppard was an iconic figure, remembered by fans and peers alike for his creativity and wit. Peppard's legacy lives on through his many famous roles, beloved characters, and impressive body of work. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Peppard, their son, Christian Peppard, and two step children.
